What is Amoxicillin Suspension?
Amoxicillin is a penicillin-like broad spectrum antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms.

Amoxicillin kills or stops the growth of bacteria that cause infection. It treats many different kinds of infections of the skin, respiratory tract, sinuses, ear, and kidney. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your veterinarian.
This item must be reconstituted. It is sent dry along with the appropriate amount of water. Once mixed with water, the medication should be stored in the refrigerator and shaken well before using.
Medication remaining after 14 days from the date mixed should be discarded.

Special Precautions: This medication should not be used in animals allergic to penicillins or cephalosporins. Use with caution in dehydrated animals or animals with kidney or heart disorders. Certain prescription medications such as allopurinol, should be used with caution when taken with amoxicillin due to the increased risk of rash. Erythromycin and probenecid may increase the effectiveness of amoxicillin. Keep this and all other medicines out of the reach of children. Use this medication only for the indication prescribed.
