Shipping Policy

Thank you for choosing our online pharmacy for your pet's needs.

Order Processing Time:  Most orders in stock are processed and shipped within 24 to 48 hours after receiving veterinarian approval. Most orders ship via USPS ground advantage with an estimated 1–3-day transit time. Alternative carriers may be used depending on the situation. 

In some cases, items may be out of stock at the time of ordering and must be procured from our warehouse or directly from the manufacturers.  Processing times may be extended an additional 1-3 days or longer depending on external factors. We will make every attempt to ship your items as quickly as possible. If the wait times are expected to exceed 5-7 days, you will be notified with an ETA and/or given the option of a substitution based upon approval from your pet’s veterinarian.    

Pet Food Orders:  In-stock pet food items are shipped directly from the Purina Warehouse within 24 to 48 hours of order placement. These items may be shipped via UPS, Fedex, DHL or OnTrac depending on the area.  Purina pet food and supplements cannot be cancelled or altered after the order is placed. Please review your order carefully. Purina products are not refundable or returnable. If the product is no longer needed, please consider donating to a local organization. 

Cold Shipping for Refrigerated Items:  Refrigerated items are shipped Monday through Thursday to maintain optimal condition during transit. We do not ship any item requiring cold storage or temperature control on Fridays or over the weekend. These items are not eligible for returns or refunds.

Compounded items: Compounded items are made specifically for your pet by Wedgwood Pharmacy and may take longer to process and ship. Please allow 3-14 days for processing and shipping. A mandatory $10 shipping charge is applied to each order. Most orders will ship via Fedex. 

 Confirmation/Tracking number:  Upon placing an order, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging your purchase. Another email containing a tracking number will be sent once your order has been shipped.
